At Bay Flats Lodge, we’ve modified our way of doing business in order to enhance our customers’ safety and health. When you arrive at the lodge, you may notice that things have changed a bit. We have provided hand sanitizer dispenser stations throughout each property, with accompanying signage reminding guests of proper hand sanitation, and require all employees to wear face coverings at all times. You’ll also notice our Housekeeping staff more, as we have increased frequencies of cleaning and disinfecting high-traffic areas.
We hold ourselves to the absolute highest standards of cleanliness and care each day, especially in regards to our guest rooms. Above normal cleaning, we’ve also incorporated new sanitation procedures that exceed public health, government, and industry guidelines for COVID-19. That’s right! After cleaning and disinfecting our rooms until they’re completely sanitized, we also conduct room fogging operations prior to customer check-in.
We’ve also changed staffing procedures in order to keep our guests safe. Employees are scrubbing their hands with hot soapy water for 20 seconds, multiple times throughout their shift. We encourage our guests to do the same at every opportunity. Tabletops, chair backs, utensils, and serving items are also wiped down with sanitizer after each use. Door handles, towel dispensers, bathrooms, and countertops are sanitized multiple times throughout each day. Additionally, no food is ever touched by bare hands by our kitchen staff or servers.
We care deeply about our guests, our employees, our business vendors, and our community. You can count on the Bay Flats Lodge commitment of helping to slow the spread of the Coronavirus. Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to us – not just now, but always!
