Upon returning from your day of fishing, take advantage of the opportunity for some downtime by retreating to your room. Enjoy a refreshing shower, or simply relax for a while as you decompress before having to jump in the car to drive home

HUNTING AND FISHING FAQ
- Simms Chest-Waders and Simms Wading Boots Rental - $35/day
- Simms Wading Boots Only Rental - $20/day
- We supply rod and reels when fishing from the boat.
- If you plan to wade fish, we encourage you to bring your own rod and reel.
- You can also rent a rod and reel from your guide if wade fishing - $30/day
- Benelli 12-gauge Shotgun Rental - $65/day
- Black Cloud 12-gauge Close Range 3-inch #4 shot ¼-oz. - $35/box
We supply rods and reels at no cost when fishing from the boat. If you have your own rod and reels, we suggest you bring them with you when wade fishing, or we rent rods and reels for wade fishing. We also rent waders and boots if you decide to wade fish. When making reservations, please let us know if you have your own equipment.
This is totally up to you and your party. We accommodate anglers of all experience levels. When making your reservation, please let us know what style of fishing you will be doing.
If requested in advance, we can arrange to have live bait on the boat. Live bait is seasonal and price can range from $75 to $120 per boat.
If they are available, you are allowed to request a certain guide
Typically we depart before or at sun up (6–7am), and return between 2–4pm.
If we have guides available, we allow drive in parties.
GENERAL INQUIRIES & BOOKING FAQ
Yes, you are welcome to return to your room to shower, pack up and relax after your morning fishing or duck hunting trip. Check-out is 2pm.
Yes, but please bring a dog kennel. All dogs must be kept outside in kennels. No dogs are allowed in rooms. A $100 fee will be applied if your dog is placed in your room.
For a weather cancellation, a credit is automatically given for a future trip. Full refunds are not granted for weather cancellations.
Every member of our staff is dedicated to taking care of you. Our guides will do their best to put you on the hunt or fishing trip of a lifetime and our kitchen and cleaning staff will cater to your every need. Tipping is greatly appreciated and at the discretion of each guest. Below is a guideline on what is typical—keep in mind the final decision is up to you based on your experience.
$10 for kitchen staff, per guest/day
$10 for housekeeping, per room/day
$75 to $100 per guide, per day
$5 to $10 per guest donation will be matched by the lodge for fish habitat projects
