A Remarkable Success –
The 2025 San Antonio Bay Partnership Shorelines Cleanup was an outstanding achievement thanks to the dedication of 170 volunteers, 31 boats, and 4 kayaks, all working in coordination to help protect our coastal environment.
In total, participants removed an estimated 3.4 tons of marine debris from the San Antonio Bay system. This included three full roll-off dumpsters and 24,051 individual items—bringing our cumulative six-year total to an impressive 81,165 documented pieces of debris removed from this critical ecosystem.
Efforts like these are about more than just litter removal—they represent a shared commitment to conserving the health and resilience of our bay system for future generations. We extend our sincere gratitude to every individual and partner organization who made this year’s cleanup such a success.
Together, we are creating a cleaner, healthier future for the San Antonio Bay and the wildlife that depends on it.
