Are you still waiting around for trophy trout season? Well, a gator trout was just landed on Captain Nick’s boat this week, and it was a personal best for our guests. Trout limits were checked in for the majority of the 7-boats on Wednesday, Nov. 28. Live shrimp popped under a cork with the methods of anchoring or drifting over deep shell pads continues to produce a lot of action for trout and reds. One boat of guests had limits of reds and trout with Captain Jonathan.
A personal best trout was landed by a recent guests of Tim J. while attending a sales force meeting and fishing tournament at the lodge. This guests was fishing with Captain Nick, and the trout is creating a buzz around the mid-coast as one of the biggest trout landed thus far during the beginning trophy trout season.
