Capt. Tyler Brown

Capt. Tyler Brown grew up in Kerrville, TX, where his spent much of his time fishing the rivers and creeks of the Texas Hill Country. After graduating from Texas A&M, Tyler coached high school basketball for several years. Eventually, his obsession of fly fishing led him to take advantage of an opportunity to become a fly guide in Alaska, in 2017. Between seasons, he frequently spent his free time traveling to the Texas coast, and while doing so fell in love with the sight casting nature of coastal flats fishing. As a result, Capt. Tyler relocated to Rockport, TX, in 2022 to chase redfish on a full-time basis. Tyler enjoys exploring the vast flats and marshes in his Hell’s Bay Professional poling skiff, and he loves sharing these exciting experiences with other fly anglers.
