The pintails arrived back to the coast and allowed the duck hunters a wonderful opportunity for solid gunning. Many pintail flocks flew into the blocks on a string…
After day-to-day COLD weather, we finally got to experience the sun and warmer conditions. Brian’s party found limits of red heads and pintails with a bonus puddle duck while hunting with Capt. TJ and his dog red. Lori and Audrey welcomed them back to the lodge with a warm smashed potatoes, carrots, gravy and pot roast lunch. Later in the day Capt. Harold returned with our guests all the way from Philly CJ, Dan and Bill; shot 20 ducks with full limits of redheads and pintails, and nice trophies of widgeon to complete their straps.
The lodge said hello to Keith B. AKA “Gray Beards” back for another year with Capt. Jason – afternoon hunt. Before departing they took in a hot lunch by Lori and Audrey. They found limits of redheads with Capt. Jason and lab Ammo. The lodge welcomed returning guests Brian D. party, and Terry L. and guests for dinner and several days of blast & blast. Reports to follow.

This was our 11 year from n.y had a great time again food and our guide were excellent thanks Chris and tj see you next year. Tim & Tom Buffalo, NY.
I’ve never been to a fishing / hunting lodge that had the accomodations, staff and ammenties like Bay Flats.
I’m getting older and as a result of health issues my duck hunting days are coming to an end, however, you guys are above and beyond!
Both of our guides Jason an TJ worked hard to ensure we had a great time both had great attitudes and were attentive to our needs 2 very good guys!!!
We stayed at Bay Flats Lodge on January 11-13th and it was one of the best trips I have ever been on. Chris and his staff run a tight ship and will do everything in their power to make sure you enjoy yourself. The accomadations were top notch, the food was outstanding and atmosphere makes you want to stay all season long. We killed a good mess of ducks and caught a full limit of slot reds in the afternoon with guide Jonathan Hill. Thanks again, we’ll be back soon.
My son and I stayed at Bay Flats Lodge on January 6, 2013 and hunted on January 7. The accommodations, service, and food were all first class. The owner, staff, chef and even the maids were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Our guide, Harold, was very helpful as we were not familiar with air boats and hunting in a salt water marsh. Our hunt went well and we experienced a time that will long be remembered. We plan on going again next year.
