According to Captain Nathan – a great day on the water, we landed and released 16 bulls between 38-48 inches. 4 monster black drum. and lost a couple with Jack and his guests.
Captain Jason who specializes in wade fishing with artificial lures stated “Tim M. and guests enjoyed using darker colors like plum chartreuse TTK tipped with 1/8-oz. heads. Best action was on the windward shorelines in the back lakes.”
The lodge welcomes a group of 10 Wednesday with a 4-boat event for the next 2-days. Prospects remain favorable despite a cold front predicted over the next 24 hours. Fall fishing is in full swing, temps are forecasted to drop for this weekend into the up 50’s. Man, I’m looking forward to cooler weather! How about you?
