Bay Flats Lodge on San Antonio Bay
By Captain Chris Martin

Saturday was a tough day with a lot of boat traffic but managed to land a little meat for the future father in laws. Sounded like a good bachelor party followed by some decent fishing. Had one throwing lures and one throwing shrimp with a popping cork over mud/shell flats. Wasn’t the best day, but wasn’t the worst!
Through The Guides
It takes a particular kind of person to be a full-time fishing guide. It’s a lifestyle made up of long, long days that consumes most of your personal time as well. Guiding requires complete dedication, a positive attitude, and a will to succeed. People who are fishing guides come from a different mold, made-up of pure heart and a competitive nature. At the end of each day, they thank the stars above for being chosen to perform in their profession. That’s who fishing guides are!
Remember, “Fishing here is not about challenging your fishing limits, but about the art of relaxation.” Good luck, and tight lines to you all…!
