Bay Flats Lodge on San Antonio Bay
By Capt. Chris Martin
Capt. Stephen Boriskie
A morning much like the others, I sleepily load my Croaks around 430 am and fill up the tanks with fuel but forgot today’s trip was to be a 5 pack so the 10 dozen I got worried me that it would not cover. Luck had the men and boys ran down to a couple dozen left when we called it a day and these guys used them well putting 19 keepers in the box. Keeping count of all fish they managed another 25 or so smalls along with some whisker fish and even a stingray. Big fun when you are an adult but I had two eleven year olds and one 13 and when you are a kid it is super exciting to catch this many fish. Jovi, JJ, Luke, Chris and Josh were a fine crew and while it was challenging at times keeping track of five lines we pulled it off and came out smelling like speckled trout, sunscreen and salty air. Come back soon y’all!

Took a little longer Tuesday than I hoped, but finally landed on a quick aggressive bite on a strong incoming tide.
Capt. Cooper Hartmann
Full limit of nice trout, but only managed to scratch out one good slot red. Super nice family – look forward to them next time.
