Hurricane Harvey was a teacher for us here at Bay Flats Lodge. He taught us no one is exempt when disasters strike. He taught us suffering is indiscriminant and doesn’t see a person’s skin color, age or income. He taught us we need to care for each other. He also taught us we need to be prepared to care for each other.
