Lodge: well setup, very organized, and has a feel unlike others, it feels like a home, not a lodge/hotel. facility is well taken care of, and the pride of the facility is seen throughout the lodge Food: 5 star, we are a bit critics, since my wife is in the food industry for over 10 years in Houston. The prepared duck plate was TOP notch in our opinion. Hospitality: from the warm handshake "hello", to the "do you need help on the way out"....all service and comfort well above normal. Staff was above and beyond helpful. Fishing: capt jason, well where do I start, he is one of the hardest working guides I have seen. He will run and gun till you get your limits or fall asleep with a rod in your hand. He never quits! He took my wife from zero fishing experience to trophy trout addiction. Overall: call chris now!, get on the schedule, you wont be disappointed. Booking my next one very soon.....

It was above and beyond of what we expected". the seven other guys agreed w me 100%. we will be back next year in Oct or Nov. August is too hot.

This was my second time to BFL and from the time you show up until the time you leave you are handled with extreme care and hospitality. I have fallen in love with the property and the staff at BFL and look forward to my next trip.

Hi Chris- I was at your place Wednesday night and fishing Thursday with Tim Gaffigan's group. I had an incredible time and definitely will consider your place in the future. GREAT meal! I fished with Nathan (really enjoyed his guiding) and he took a picture of me in the water holding a decent trout (23.5"). Can you check with him and send me that pic if he still has it? Thanks! Chris our weekend of fishing your camp was spectacular. The service, accomadations and general attitude of your employees and even the other guest provided a very enjoyable weekend. I can only comment on what my cleint sadi about TJ, for a guide, they said he was very energitc and very professional. I fished with David and he was fantastic. Great trip and we will be back

Chris, We had a blast. My son is "hooked" on wade fishing, no more boats for us. Thanks for the photos, the picture taken from the boat looking down on the netted fish is great, you can even see your logo hat. Thanks again Gregg Yates

Hey Chris thanks again for a great experience and wonderful hospitality. Looking forward to coming back soon wether it is fishing or maybe a duck hunt this year. That duck for dinner was wonderful. Can you tell me what type of sauce that was Sherman used after he cooked it.

Chris, I just wanted to say thank you to you and the staff at Bay Flats for everything. The lodge was first rate and I cannot wait to come back. Capt. Harold couldn't have been easier to get along with or a better fisherman. After he got us a limit of trout, we moved on to catch a few reds before the weather turned on us. Definitely will be back to hammer some more trout with some friends and show Peter how to fish. Thanks Again, Fisher M.
