Capt. Chris Castillo graduated from West Texas A&M with an Associates of Science degree in 2002. He has been fishing the Port O' Connor region system for the past 20 years. Capt. Chris is married to Stephanie and they have a young child together and reside in Victoria, Texas.

One can find Capt. Chris poling his Ranger Banchee along a salt grass shoreline with his favorite fly. He loves to pole fly-fisherman along the flats to hunt for tailing reds while sight casting and also runs a 21-foot Majek Redfish with a Yamaha 150-TRP. His passion is wade fishing while chunking artificial lures or fly-fishing, but he also loves to guide all experience levels from live bait presentation to hard-core wade fisherman. Capt. Chris is also a very accomplished duck-hunting guide. One will find him to very helpful, and will make sure that the customer is the one catching the fish, instead of the guide. When Chris gets out of the boat, he stays shoulder-to-shoulder with his guest, and is a great teacher, instructor, and has respect for the client having a wonderful experience. Capt. Chris knows what customer service is all about.
